Our Economic Development Program is gearing up for 2nd Quarter Start

Transportation in Liberia is a challenge! It is both expensive and unreliable. Many Liberian farmers only plant enough of a crop to feed their family. Many have more land, but cannot affordably get their crop to market.

Through a generous gift from King of Glory Church, CRI is getting our Economic Development Program going. Wonkehmie Bellah is our Program Director. He is forming a small team to operate a trucking business. Several times a week, Wonkehmie’s team will travel to surrounding rural communities to gather crops and other items.

Not only will this program benefit the farmers economically, we will be employing young adults and training them how to operate a truck and run a transportation business. And of course, a Gospel outreach program will be an integral part of this program. At each opportunity, we will be in prayer and have Christian conversations with community members and the farmers we serve!

Here are some pictures of our new truck. Thank you for praying we will have the wisdom and skill to make this a vibrant new CRI program!!!
