Clearing 10 Acres for a farm for our Medical Clinic!

We are so thankful a new chapter in the history our Medical Clinic is getting underway. On March 14th, Jeff Gaylah (Clinic Administrator) organized many volunteers from neighboring communities to come and clear about 10 acres of land. They are using machetes and much hard manual labor to clear the land of the trees and underbrush. The humidity and heat are high an the job is difficult.

In this video, Jeff is inviting them to take a break and share a meal. These young men have generously given their time and hard work to help us prepare the land for planting. Soon we will have oil palms, cassava, and plantain crops growing. Our harvest will either be consumed by our Staff and Patients … or taken to market to generate funds to offset some Clinic expenses.

We give thanks to God for protecting Jeff and these volunteers as they make space for the farm!
