Shopping gets interesting at CRI!

When you care for 32 Children, you rarely are purchasing just a few things at a time!

Marcus (our National Director) and Victoria (our Children’s Home Director) are dedicated to ensuring sufficient food and supplies are available for our Kids and Staff. And of course, even when we are careful … things wear out and break :-)

Each month requires several trips to the Red Light Market (about 10 miles away) to purchase food and supplies in bulk. These pictures show the challenges of transporting replacement mattresses … and some chairs. What the pictures do not show is that public transportation in Liberia is difficult and too often dangerous. (We have had 3 teammates hospitalized due to motorbike or car accidents in the past two years!)

Thank you Victoria, Marcus, and everyone on CRI Team for your skill and dedication. Your daily acts of love and care for our Children, Staff, Neighbors, and we in the US as Volunteers are just incredible!

And thank you to each of you who are Child Sponsors and Donors! Your gifts permit Marcus, Victoria, Pastor Scott, our Caregivers, and Security Team Members to honor Christ by serving the Kids. Thank you also for join us in prayer for the health, safety, and welfare of our dedicated Staff!
