King of Glory Mission School is now educating nearly 300 Kids! With just one floor, class space has been a real challenge. But we have great news. Three incredible gifts ($63,000 from King of Glory Church, $5,000 in memory of Michael de la Montanya, $1,900 for floor tile in Boys dorm) plus $6,000 from student fees have us so very close to completing the 2nd floor and addressing some related needs. Very soon the 2nd floor will include a dormitory for 18 Boys, 6 classrooms, and a large bathroom. What a blessing!

What are we fundraising for?

$3,000 to address some construction cost overruns we have encountered.
- We developed our construction estimates over the course of the past year. While most of the work has come in on plan, we have experienced some inflation and other challenges. Overall, we are pleased the overrun is less than 5%.
$7,000 to build a security barrier around the campus to improve Home and School safety.
- With 34 children in our Home (ages 4 to 16) and more than 260 children coming to School, safety is a big concern. Our campus is now almost completely surrounded by other homes and it is becoming increasingly difficult for our Security Team and Staff to keep track of everyone. The distance between our Home and a neighboring house is now less than 30 feet! Few things have been more frequently requested by our Staff … and we look forward to addressing their concern.
$3,000 to construct and furnish 2 offices for our new National Director and CRI Nurse.
- With such a small Home and School, finding space for our new National Director and CRI Nurse has been difficult. The nurse has been officing in our basement, but this space is unfinished and extremely hot and humid for about 3 months of the year. Now that we have the Boys dormitory constructed on the 2nd floor of the School, our plan is to build out a more suitable space for the Nurse’s office and the National Director.

How will the fundraiser work?

From April 25th thru May 2nd this page will display the following ‘Giving Board’. The Board began with 150 squares. Every day or so we will update the Board to exclude the numbers representing the gifts we have already received.
